wireless card

on my new laptop im just a little confused on what wireless card to get
i all ready have a wireless-g router and a wireless network working in my house currently
so should i use a
802.11g
802.11a/g
wireless- N
should i just get the N and that would allow me to connect to everything
or just go with the a/g?

Is it a new laptop? If it is then it probably has wireless built in.

its going to be built in
but im not sure which one to get
can i get the wireless-N card and be able to connect with a wireless g router?
or any other router for that matter?
or should i get the a/g card.

and its not on order
im just getting half of my ducks in a row before i get one

the wireless N should be backwards compatable to wireless G. However, I wouldn't waste the money on it yet. N isn't out of the draft state yet so things might change leaving you with no advantage.
