can anyone help me with downloading flash player oin my dell xps 410. it does not work when i dowln load it, does anybody know y?

im using internet explorer 7 and im trying to watch videos on mtv.com and it wont let me. it always says that its being downloaded but the web site still wont let me view the videos. also i tyred to use the ONLINE SPOTLITE in media center and it wont work there either it always says that i need to update the flash plug in and i do it on adobes website and it silll does not work. in media center and it wont work there either. i dont know whats wrong.

I've had it happen before where it will download and "install successfully" yet to truly have it, you need to run a update.exe file from their program folder. I think it is something like C:\Program Files\MacroMed\Update.exe
