Get rid of Dual Boot

Ok below is what my boot.ini file looks like. Can I just email him that and have him copy that?

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect

When I formatted it, I just went through the windows reinstall screen (Blue and white text). I deleted all the partitions and then did the quick format which partitioned it as NTFS. Then installed it.

There is only one partition and in Explorer there is only the C: drive and the CD drive.

I will try the FIXBOOT in a couple minutes.

Thanks for your help

Hi,

U can simply remoove it:

Start > Control panel > System > Advanced > Start up and recovery >

And uncheck "Time to display list of operation systems"

and

"Time to display recovery options when needed"

After this just reboot ure system and u shouldn't see this any more.

:cool:
