Sound from video?

So do you guys know of any programs that let you separate sound from a video.
So like if I'd have a music video I could separate the audio so I would be left with an .mp3 (or any other audio file)

V dub is good . i use that and i never have problems . I dunno what formats it does as i have only ever used avi files on it

haha, mate you read my mind or something!
I was just about to come and say I have the program and the avi, now how the hell do I separate the audio.

Lol, I figured you'd want it, the program is a bit confusing at first

so.. after doing everything that guide said about "Extracting MP3 audio from an AVI" I'm left with the original avi, a huge wav and the one I got in the end, which appears to be some kind of a video file instead of an mp3.

So, what do I do now? Or do I just use some other program to turn the wav into mp3? The wav is something like 50mb.

Yeah just convert the wav to mp3 . Or open it with audacity and take out what you dont need . then export it from there

I've never personally used it, so I can't say. If the wav contains what you want, then you can just convert it to MP3.
