I was thinking of getting this SATAII for my Gaming PC is it good enough?

Seagate 120Gb SATAII 7200rpm 8Mb 3.5

There are better options like a drive with 16mb cache (these goto 32mb now if you want it). Or you could check out the 10,000RPM raptors.

That hard drive is OK for games, but it wouldn't hold very many. It might also slow some of the higher-end games down. Like Raffaz said, look into a Raptor.

Here, I took the liberty of checking newegg.com for some good HD's:

That one would work fine with games, and it's pretty cheap as drives with a 16 mb cache and 160 gb storage go
and if you want to go out on a limb, try this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136012. The Raptor is expensive, I know, but it would work great with all games.

It depends on how much you are willing to spend. I have a Seagate 250GB 7200.10 and it doesn't bother me one bit. I've only used about 65 GB and have a bunch of games loaded.

im getting this harddrive from superbilling, for $69 is that good value for money?

the question was, would this be a good sata to play games?
The question is, whats the rest of your system like? Upgrading the HDD isnt gonna make it a good gaming system if the rest of the system isnt up to spec.
