yes you need a firewall, theres no doubt about it. it will protect your computer from unwanted visitors and threats

depends what you do on the net. id only trust the windows one for light web browsing, not much more. this is the xp one btw

yh sorry i jus ment coz most ppl are behind router firewalls aswell nowadays so in that case windows firewall is good

yep i am behind my router firewall on xp using only xp firewall and so far no probs
