Lol, a 250 watt power supply probably will only give it something like 150 watts max. Realistically, something like 100 watts. The peak power of the sub in my Z-5500 setup is about 376 watts...

I guess you must just have a really rickety house then

did you use the AC to DC converter ??? they sell them at Radio shack where you can even hook up a car stereo to your home stereo...
