but im unless i end up getting a ps3 as a blue ray player
i really really really am not spending 600 bucks

Nope. Insomniac has always been a first-party Sony developer.

Have you ever played the other ratchet and clank games? I thought they were all good except deadlocked. But the new one will be for PS3, so i will never get to play it, lol, I'm not buying a PS3, maybe it will come out for PS2 if we are lucky.

Ratchet and Clank is a good series. I enjoyed it on the PS2.

As for the next Ratchet being on PS2, I highly doubt it.

The Xbox version came out like 6 moths later than the PS2 version.

I'm not really sure about that, because Insomniac is a first-party developer for Sony, meaning Sony publishes their games. It's similar to Microsoft Game Studios and all the game developers under them (i.e. Bungie, Turn10, Rare, Ensemble etc).

Nope. It's just like Bungie and Halo. You'll never see Halo for the PlayStation unless Sony buys out Microsoft, which is something that is very unlikely.
