disable onboard graphics

How do I disable on-board graphics?

I was told that it uses up your ram and now I have a graphics card.

You usually disable the on-board graphics from the BIOS - probbly under Advanced settings, or a similar section.

i wouldnt recommend doing this because if you ever have to take out your add in card than you will have to reset your bios . by having the add in card in it automatically disables the onboard video in windows. it takes up no ram and no recources

bios...just set it to pci-e if you installed a new card. it's easy
