So what's everyone top 3 (or top5 or what ever, but try to keep it short) guitar songs. So basically a few songs that excel in guitar work. Also maybe just a few words to tell why the song deservers it's spot as one of the best guitar songs ever. Also, if possible add a link to the song (youtube video or something else) so everyone can check it out.

My top 4 would be
#1
Jason Becker - Altitudes
Such a beautiful song. I don't think there is any other way to describe this masterpiece. Just shows how perfect this guy was with his guitar. Btw the album containing this song was released when Jason was only 19.

UFO - Lights Out
Well, what can I say? Michael Schenker showing what he is made of. An awesome song, you just have to love those solos. This songs is definitely a classic.

Persuader - ...And There Was Light
The first 30 seconds are enough to tell that this is one of the most awesome guitar songs ever made. Simply mind-blowing.
Couldn't find anything for this

Queensrÿche - Waiting For 22
From one of my favourite bands. From the best album ever.
This song is a really short instrumental, (1min 7s) and while it's pretty simple it just sounds so good. Also you have to know what the whole Operation: Mindcrime album is all about to really understand this song. The atmosphere it creates just fits perfectly into the album, and that's what makes this so good.

It's the first one he plays. Obviously not the original one, and he doesn't play if perfectly but he does a good job. Also naturally there is only 1 guitar on that clip while there is also another one on the real song. So not an ideal video but you get the idea. :D

Short list off the top of my head.

Anything by Satriani - goes without saying
"One" by Metallica - blazingest solo ever
Gotta throw in my favorite band, "Antisaint" by Chevelle since it has the catchiest, heaviest riff I can think of right now. Not very technical, but it's nice.

planet x has a really cool song, don't know the name, but my friend played it at a party, and it was in all sorts of different times and stuff.
