I'm not sure which one to have. I currently have avast! Antivirus installed and I really like it because it's not heavy and has proved to be quite protectful. It's simple to use and has many protection programs and seems professional to me. Last time I installed NOD32 it was weird and didn't know quite how to work it, but people say it's strong and light .. so which one should I really go for?

Thanks in advance.

avast if you don't want to pay, NOD if you don't mind a subscription fee. There's a few tutorials around on how to properly configure NOD...

I have NOD32 and love it. Catches everything.

Things are explained about multiple AVs in this thread.

Raffaz had a link on how to use and setup NOD32. If he still has that, that might help you understand it better.

^^agreed. i posted a link to a NOD tutorial not long ago.
i was waiting for that reply :)
yea i would go with nod32. from what ive used of it i think its great. i just dont want to pay for an av and i dont want an illegal copy (thats the only thing i keep legal)

If you're willing to pay for it, NOD32 is the best.

Avast! is alright, I'm currently using AVG Free Edition with Vista though. I don't quite have the money for NOD32 yet.
