Prices.

When do you guys predict a price fall on our favorite core 2 duos. I assume after something better comes out. How much and when do you think their prices will fall from like 200-300-400 to 100-200

Isn't there supposed to be a huge price drop on July 22nd? Along with the release of the Core 2 Duo 6050 family? It's supposed to be:

E6550 (2.33GHz) $163.00
E6750 (2.66GHz) $183.00
E6850 (3.00GHz) $266.00

These are far better priced than the current E6XXX C2Ds so I'm expecting a price drop will happen then. I doubt they would continue to sell E6400s (2.13GHZ) at ~$180.00 when there will be E6750s priced nearly the same.

I thought the price drop was scheduled for July 27th. Either way, quad cores are expected to be about $200 if I remember correctly, so who knows what dual cores will be like.
