Help wit my laptop problems

ok so i have here a 5 year old HP laptop, it wen eva it starts it stay on from 10 to 60 min, and some times wen i moved it it shut off, battery is fine, so it connection,HDD is ok, think proc is fine bc can run tht long, but a while ago i was playing a game and it turned off this was bc i though it overheated, bc the bottom was very hot. it has a P4 and i belive it has the ova-heat protection on it, as soon as i get it back running im running a memtest on it, ill post results later, but for now would like ne help you can give.

umm just a quick q? coz i had same problem with my laptop if u leave the laptop dead still like on a desk and dont move it does it still turn off ?

yea all th other times i dont bump it it eventuallys turn off, is this a problem wit the AC connector, i was just googlin for this stuff, also if it helps it a HP Pavillion ze5170
