Hi guys, I've been experimenting with my computer because it's slowing down etc, so I go into task manager and the cpu is running at 100%, reading the old threads on this forum I do the defrag's the clean disk Ad-Ware etc but it only helps for a while, I have an old machine it has Xp pro Sp 1 on it, I cant download patches for it as I'am not the administrator, the program is legit, its a machine I got of my daughters recruting business, 2 years down the track I've relized that you need a password to do certian things on it, normally to use the computer you just press ctrl alt del and enter and away you go anyway when I reboot the machine and @ f8 safemode debug mode or any other service that is displayed on the screen they all stop at
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\windows\system32\drivers\mup.sys
I've tried all combinations to re start at f8 and all the installations stop at this point, whats the problem what have I done?
ps how do you do a snap shot of the screen?
