Replacing XP with Vista

I just installed vista, but when I checked my computer, there was a folder that says old windows and has the old XP stuff in it. How do I get rid of the xp files since I dont need it?

umm right click and delete lol.

if that dont work try rebooting in safe mode and try the same thing

You should delete it if you want like ssc456 said.

you might need to take ownership of the files. try a normal delete first though

If you do need to take ownership, You don't even need to boot into safe mode with Vista. taking ownership is just one of the many new "Advanced" security options where you view the properties of a file or folder.
