the ones im going to replace, im going to put on the 120mm, for the cpu im not sure beacause i dont know which one is better the heat sink or fan w/ heat sink? what would you say is better.
does anyone know the case fan size in the back that comes with the computer?
and i also want to get the fan controllers

I'd say a heat sink w/ fan would be better, I don't think I would ever trust having just a heatsink on a CPU or GPU.

umm, first off, is this comp really old? and second, do you know for sure that its getting hot in there? What are the temps? Dont just replace stuff for no reason. If its old then its fine, dont buy more stuff for it. Most prebuilt comps are cooled fine. Unless their loud.

Judging by his screen name, it's probably a Gateway. Some of Gateway's PC are BTX form factor, which explains the funky layout. You could replace the cooler, just get a BTX form factor one, which are made by a few companies like Asus and Thermaltake. I don't know how standard coolers would fit.
