Overclocking, etc.

Hi, I'm a newbie at computer hardwares. I recently heard that you can overclock your videocard, motherboard, etc to make it better than it already was. THATS SO COOL! Can anyone tell me any other things that can make my computer hardwares better? Thanks.

Well, you can't really get a magical solution. Overclocking is a great thing if done right, but it is one of the only things that you get 'free'. Even with OCing, if you want to get it really good, you will have to buy proper cooling.

That and OCing depends on your hardware. Some CPUs allow for huge Overclocks, some are actually made for OCing, and some don't at all.

This may seem like an obvious thing, but keeping the system cool will help it run better. Just something as simple as a small desk-fan blowing on to the case can help decrease temps and improve performance.
