Hey, im a massive fan of the humble desktop, i LOVE them, but i need to get my own pc, and my room has not room for the systems i like so much, so im having to delve into the untamed wilderness of laptops.

Im looking for a lappy running vista premium with at least,
1.5ghz CPU
1gb RAM
128/256mb Video memory
under £450 (max)

I was hoping users on the forums might have some priop knowledge and could help me pick a laptop, i had planned to get This but a friend has since commented on DELL's

low quality laptop builds

.

So...
A) Could you suggest a laptop meeting or surpassing the specs??
B) If you or someone you know has had bad experiences with DELL laptops, can you let me know more please.

That laptop sounds alright actually.
You aren't going to be gaming with it though are you?
I'm not too sure of the graphics card if you are, and the fact 1GB RAM on a Vista system will eat up rather fast I've heard.

Processor seems more than capable though, and RAM is a good spec (DDR2).
