I'm getting this processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16819116027
And this heatsink: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16835150033
for my socket 478 system. I couldn't get a bigger heatsink because of my small case.

I know the heatsink comes with thermal paste preapplied, but I don't know that I would trust that paste with the said to be hot running P4 Prescott. I need to know the best thermal paste to buy (from Newegg, and something that's not going to cost more than about $5ish) and how to apply it. The reviews of the Prescott say that it needs more thermal paste than the size of a grain of rice. I've never had to apply thermal paste before, and don't want to mess up this system by not enough or too much thermal paste (or the wrong type). I won't be overclocking the processor BTW.
