Mobile CPU's

Question: Are you able to put Mobile CPU's in desktops ... heres what someone wrote in a review on newegg about a core2duo mobile for laptops...
"If you're going to be putting this in a desktop and overclocking it, its a great chip"

umm well i dont think you can put a Mobile CPU into a desktop board but he might have ment getting a mobile motherboard aswell and then putting it into a desktop but it would be kinda pointless

i am sure it is posible but you would need a special motherboard that supports the mobile chip , i seem to remember an adaptor for socket 478 so you could put pentium M in there but i may be mistaken .
also there realy would be no benifit unless it is for a small form factor media center machine type thing
