100% cpu usage, cant seem to figure out whats wrong

personally i would stop wasting anymore time on it and just back up your stuff and reinstall

True reformat it,if you dont want to do that then go to startup menu ,uncheck all that you dont need running all the time,the utilitys will still work if you uncheck them,they only wont run in background when you dont need them,all that should be running is your print tray,explorer,and one or two others ,this will really help your boot up time,and get rid of any AV except one I like AVG it is free,uses very little resources,and works great!!

hmmmmm does anyone eles think that the 1.6ghz is a bit slow for the 1gb of memory and could the memory be faster than the CUP and HI
