upcoming processor ??

i keep reading everywere about some upcoming 45nm platform ??? it says here in a motherboard specs...

The Intel® P35 Express Chipsets support the latest multi-core processors up to FSB 1333MHz, including the upcoming 45nm platform, with its record breaking performance and greater energy efficiency.

just wounderin what this was ?? new processor or somthin ?

yep there the new intel one with the new 45nm fabraction. i think most of them will be quad cores. after these come out the current quad cores will DROP in price FAST. there basicicaly less heat with more speed simply put

they will also support DDR3 and obvioulsy have the rated FSB of 1333mhz

It shouldn't be a different socket. All I think we will need is a BIOS update, and thankfully eVGA is good about getting those out.

Lol look to Nvidia for that. But I don't know what drivers you are having problems with. I'm running off of the ones that came on my CD with no issue.
