Unbelievable AMD prices...

Just under a year ago I bought my 4200+ X2 Dual Core (AM2) for £120 odd.....

I'm sorry, but that's incredible. I didn't know that the prices (even though AMD are cheap) were that cheap. That is still a pretty good processor too.

mm well yeah i would have a 6420 over the amd i suppose but when i build m,y budge dual core system i am getting an amd 3600 and a gb ram

£100 would be aprox $200 dollars cos the current exchange rate is sweet , well at least for us buying from you

yeh over the past month or so exchange rate has been roughly double and sometimes better.

yeah that is a great processor for the price.

i only wish all these prices dropped when i built my machine..

FOR £335 and he has a gorgeous case wit a nice side windows and some neons

i think the major price drop was in the RAM. wish i could build mine again

yeah , i was looking at buying a 512mb ddr ram module in january and it was a few pound short of 40 now it is 20ish , that is half , and ddr2 has fell even more it is now cheaper to buy ddr2 brand new than to buy ddr so i am planning a new system ,to take place between September and november maybe even before depending on if i can get a job or not
