Help please, black screen.

Hi guys I just put together this computer and Im getting a black screen / no signal when I start it up. There are no beeps indicating loose hardware. I just get a blank start up and that is it. I thought it might be my video card but I tried using an old pci card and the same thing happens so I know it's not the PCIe card or the PCI card. Any suggestions?

All your cables etc are connected? If your pc is booting, then you should hear 1 beep. Some graphics cards have their own power cable, have you checked that?
