Is it possible for me to dual boot with either vista or xp? If so, how do i partition my hdd to do so? how would i be able to switch over? if i want to delete the vista partition, can i do so without harming the xp parition?

i also need to check if my drivers are compatible.

if someone has a tut that would be awsome.

If you want to see if your comptuer meets all the requirements take run this program from microsoft.

As for driver compatability on vista, we will need to know more information about the system you plan running it on and what version of vista you are going with (32 or 64 bit). If you have vista already and want to add XP, drivers will not be an issue. Everything has drivers for XP. Well... Everything made in the last 5ish years.

Just next time use the handy 'Search' feature. Even if the thread isn't active, doesn't mean it can't help.

You could always try installing microsoft virtual PC under XP and installing vista, then you can try it out and play around to see if you're ready to upgrade or not.
