On the $600-900 I would switch the mobo. A 650i for the extra $20 or a DFI infinity might be a lil better. I had a 570 before my 650i, and I couldnt do any overclocking, but if you arent going to OC than the 570 will be good.

BTW, nice sticky idea.

On the $400-600 one I would switch the video card to an 8600GT.

EDIT: @superman: Do you go to Harvard? If so you must be pretty smart...I might go to MIT or something.

harvard is a city too in illinois.

i think the comp in the 600 to 900 should have a btr conroe(2.4ghz one), and not have an sli mobo. raptor can be added as an option for hard drive so ppl who like space over performance or vice versa can pick.

and are u sure thats the roomiest case there is? seems pretty pricey. lemme check. meh this MIGHT do. ppl say that it has a very thin metal coat and dents easy but it servves its purpose. rudster, look at it and see if it could do.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147071

I'm sorry but I have to ask, what is the point of this? this will really only be true for about a week, maybe up to three weeks depending on the market. After that, there will be new stuff and this won't be the "best" anymore.

Also for the 600-900, up the CPU to an E6600, IT doesn't cost that much more, and is a great CPU.
