No Messed up. just FYI i HATE Apple. (no affence) (and bad speller) just way to user friendly and everything i use a computer for needs windows or linux. Mac's just dont have any programs that i would use. And for that i dont do lots of reasearch on the mac's. but i put it to be fair.

Virtually any linux application runs on a mac.

vista has really good security. Its annoyin but very good. stopped a virus from running on my computer. very safe. still the latest antivirus and anti spyware helps alot.

Although i havent yet experienced the realm of Mac yet, I would have to say that Linux is one of the safest OS as of yet, and Win XP is the most vulnerable.

I remember reading someplace that there were 40,000 new windows viruses last year, 40 linux viruses, and 5 unix viruses.

but who uses unix?

WOW but really unix...... never heard of it. With linux i once picked it up with my Xbox360 Wireless networking thingy and tool there internet. Serious flaw and to this day i have no idea who's computer i used.

I'd count BSD based operating systems as unix (OS X, Solaris, Ubuntu). Than theirs true unix OS's like UX and AIX but you don't see these being used that much, except in some super high end computers :)
