Hi guys
i am thinking about buying a new gaming computer and was wondering what you guys think of these parts and if they are all compatible.

Nvidia Geforce 8600GTS 256mb
Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 or E6600
Intel P965
Seagate 500gb Hard Drive
2gb of ram(not sure what type, any suggestions are welcome)

Thats what i have in mind at the moment and was wondering what you guys thought and if they are all compatible.
Any suggestions and comments are welcome.

Thanks
Marzy

looks good.
For ram I'd suggest ocz, mushkin, corsair or kingston, though there are other good brands too. The only one I have personal experience with is kingston, and I've been very happy with their products.

id reccomend a good brand for the ram and get dr 800 at the minimum

Which do u guys think is better the:
Intel P965
Nvidia nForce 680i SLI LT

and thnx again for ur input

if you going to buy 2 gig ram its better to get 2x1gig ram. 2 individual ram sticks work better than 1.

ummm about $1500 AUD
those parts i have mentioned in my first post

i did a rough pricing in AUD and they come to about $1000 AUD
