that is primitive technology in 100 years, im sure it will be tottally different, what u mentioned above wont even compare, and this wont be as power consuming as what u have. A standard middle end computer wont be over 400 watts probably not over 100 watts. At the rate flash drives and the new developing 3d drives, hardrive space will probably be close to infinite, as well as ram, and graphics. Dont u think a board is a little primitive to be connecting all that stuff? Also the processor wont need to be that highly clocked, the architecture will be so good that the clock speed will be irrelevant.

i dotn think computers will be like that anymore. they will have an entirely different infrastructure. there wont be like ram and cpu and stuff. i think there will just be a main core that does all the computing by itself. and who needs graphics? all the graphics are ur thoughts and what could be more real than that in a virtual reality?

well like i was saying with all that stuff, at that point it will be significantly smaller(not super small) and they will be so closely related that they will probably be able to combine into one core. Also right now there are those flash drives that are small, were all familiar with them, they can hold a lot of storage for there size. They are developing a version of the flash drive that is three dimensional instead of 2, this will raise the space to the tenth power and reduce the size. no moving parts and it will be much quicker. im sure they will apply it to ram, graphics, it will basically be one part with different sections.

RAM and graphics doesn't have moving parts haha...in fact the only thing that has moving parts are hard drives.

will we be putting on sunglasses that has our monitor attached to it holding
a fake gun make imaginary gestures like the wii mote but better
or will chips be put into our brains allowing us to see smell hear and taste whats going on. will kids be affected by the realistic action
will the virtual pornography industry boom becouse of realistic people so much
where real sex and reproducing become oppsolite making the population go down. will crime rise with more and more computer viruses r written
will computers run our lives for us
will it come to a point wair all we do is sit in virtual reality with people as
robots make our food clean your houses and monitor our health

In 100 years, I hope to have screens implanted in retenas so you can browse the internet or watch TV wherever you want! Then have a chip in your brain that controls movement of the mouse, or just think of the channel number and the channel changes!
