When I start up the computer a black screen appears that says windows xp setup, windows xp home,(backup line) windows xp home is there any way to fix this

do you still have the XP disc in the disc drive?

did you change the settings or did your computer come like this? if you messed with it try reseting the mobo jumpers.

it worked fine after i did a full system format but after a month then it did this

try updating your bios.

or reset cmos unplug the comp, take out the battery, and let it sit then boot it back up again
