Hi, newbiw here

ive had win xp running on worse than that as well ,but if he added some more ram he could run it more stable , or look around , you can pick up a cheap 2nd user system for about £30 or less that can run xp very well
and if you know the T word then you can get software for free
theres also a p word which isnt as good. depends if your into that stuff though
id seriously upgrade os and hardware if possible. cheaply done

Hi David and thanks for the welcome and I hope to post here often.

I also hope that there are threads regarding Windows ME.

My computer was bought in April 02 2000 if I remember correctly i do have a non working computer (needs a power supply not a plug that goes into an outlet) and it's a PIONEX with tons of room on the front and rear for upgrading and I will use that one for experimental purposes just to see if I can upgrade it myself.

Hello and Welcome to CF,

And Your still using Windows ME ? That is the second most unstable OS out there...I would just upgrade to win XP. Even XP home or Linux is way better than Windows Me.

But if You prefer using Win Me. then just google for tips and tricks..

Peace out

Windows 2000!! Thats one of the most stable lol, im guessing you havent had much luck with it then?:)

Well I know that OS has more bugs in it than a rain forest, I am hooked on Xp cause I know this OS well.
