Hi all

Every time i go into my downloads file, this being partitioned on my drive, and i get an error window.
the one that says sorr6y for the incovinence windows explorer has encountered a problem and has to end.
i can drag the window out the way and still go through the file for a bout a minute. then it shuts down, everything but the wallpaper goes for a second and then the tool bar and stuff comes back.
i have only ever seen this kinda error on my computer once before with my avi converting program and that only happen with certain files, anyways guys im really stuck, i also turned off my system restore the other day so no chance of going back to a time when it work......please help

Have a look in event viewer and see if there are any clues there.

Im afraid its outta ma league raff, aww I dont know what to do, I have not got the minirals right now to deal wid this problem. looking at the event viewer for me, is like trying to understand women.....lol actually i know morwe bout then than computers but it aint enough. boo hooo ooooooo

Well just look for any red crosses in the applications section. Everything is time stamped aswell, so look for the problems happening at the same time. If there are any then double click them and post the info that appears in the grey box.

Its apparantly something to do with nero, and a conflict with thumbnail views in explorer so try a different view in explorer and see what happens
