Ati Radeon X1650

Hey,

I'm about to buy a PC HP Pavilion Media Center TV m8090.it, and it comes with the ATI RADEON X1650 Video Card. I have just ordered World of Warcraft too, and I was wondering, will this video card be able to play the game with the best graphic quality?

PS: Off topic question, does WoW run on Windows Vista?

IS that 1950xt or pro ... Well if u talking about the 512mb one then YES

(what's the full name of the card?)

Radeon X1650 XT 575(Core clock) 1350 (Effective
memory clock (MHz) 256mb

Radeon X1650 Pro 600(Core clock) 1400 (Effective
memory clock (MHz) 512mb (this one is better)

I believe for WoW doesn't meter which one u get, but pro would be better

And i am almost 100% positive that u can run WoW on Vista

PS: When u gona choose a server in WoW choose Sergeres server on the Horde side (me and my brother play there, we can help u)

I have to run to college, but i think i seen "512 MB DDR memory" so that should be planty. I dont like that its just DDR, but i guess its ok for $200

I have the His digital version of the X1650 pro. Its the overclocked version at 625/1400 with Gddr3 ram. It scores around 2800 on 3dmark06 with a E6600 cpu. It does run the majority of games on high settings button it won't run games comming out now at max.

yeah, it should run WOW at mostly maxed everything, especially with a C2D E6700 and 4GB Dual channel DDR2 ram, you might have to scale a few things down a tiny bit but other then that WOW for some reason isnt that graphic card intesive even at higher settings. Used to have a 9550 256MB AGP 8x card on an athlon XP 3000| and it ran pretty damn good with mid settings. And yes it does work fine with vista, although some mods might now but i have heard anyone complain.
