Kodak C300 problems

My friends Kodak C300 is having focusing problems. It will focus on objects really close (like macro mode) but when taking a normal picture it wont focus and is really blurry. It has no macro mode so I can not switch that off.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

There should be two buttons in the snap button. When you semi press it, it should focus on the object you're shooting.

no it is a single button, this is a cheap camera

Mine is cheap too. It has that feature. Oh well.

How about playing a bit with the zoom?

yes, no go with that too, it is digital zoom only

my camera has a button that changes between macro, autofocus and some other things. maybe he accidently turned it onto macro mode. he has checked for that hasnt he? this is exactly what it sounds like. if not that either some other setting has been changed or the cameras screwed
