tv vid card

Personally, I don't know. IMO, and convertor should do the same job. It's worth a try. Like I said, HDMI is the only solution.

eh, i guess thats an alright price, freestyler. maybe ill pick one of these up and see if its any better. anyone know about the letterboxing before i buy it? i have a 16:9 tv so it annoys me when the computer is distorted because of all the geometry. i wouldnt mind watching a movie stretched out, as it just peoples faces that are wider, but i cant have the text stretchy, so what do i do, just change the resolution to the same as the TV? and also the text is quite small from my couch. should i change the dpi?

Yeah, change the resolution to the same as the TV. If it's a 720p TV, it would be 1280 by 720.

As for text size:
Control Panel > Display > Appearance tab > Font size

Besides that, font size is per application. In most browsers, you can press Control and + to increase text size, Control and - to decrease.
