Resizing a partition- need good software

disk management is in the admin tools, just right click my computer and select manage.

If you have nero 6 or 7 let me know, i can get you the Gparted file, as well as instructions on how to get to the point where you can use it.

Raffaz, i don't think Disk Managment allows partitioning of the active main hard drive. Atleast, it won't on my install of XP.

Do I need Nero? I don't have it on Vista. Can Daemon tools work? Are we just mounting the image or burning it to a CD?

Yeah your correct was just thinking that the system partition cant be altered.:)

I personally would just backup and do clean installs, could probably have had them done by now for the time its taken so far.:)

umm nero would be best, i don't know if Daemon can burn a .nrg (nero image).

You would be burning the image to CD, then booting off of the CD.
