Need help on video card upgrade

Right now I have a x700, and it gives me line through the screen sometimes, and freezes.

My motherboard supports SLI and i want to know what the best set-up.

I want to run 2 monitors, usually i play cs and watch tv at the same time. And i want to stay in the $200 range.

should i go ati or nvidia?

NO dont get 2 cards in SLI the performance is much slower than a single card worth the same.

get a 7950GT they are REALLY good price for performance

That 8600GTS wolud be a very good choice. It will do everything you ask it to without hesitation.

Don't SLI if you want dual moniters. it simply wont work. If you still want the SLI performance with the dual monitor capabilites save up and get an 8800. The 8600 would be good too.
