the error message, 0oc0000135, is in fact incorrectly spelled, as all error messages begin with 0x (which signifies that an underlying binary problem has occured) and therefore the error message is 0xc0000135

quick search of google shows that you have to download the microsoft .net framework

I tried to seach that and thought it was a little wierd.Yeah that should work tell us how it goes.Also drop the download you got and redowload from the site once that is installed.

I have followed all your suggestions, and yet nothing so far corrects the problem.

This program labeled XP RepairsPro is a 2006 version, and no longer available for download from normal sources.

Thank you all, and I shall try to find a better source for program at Ebay.
