New Computer!?

By doing this upgrade would my Antec 380W power supply hold me off? Or would i need another upgrade in that section as well.. alright whats a good system for under lets say $600 without the video card and Monitor and speakers? Using the 6600 and at least 2GB DDr2 800 RAM
 
The only good Intel board is the Bad Axe and Bad Axe 2. the other ones are no good.
 
I have to agree there. Can't beat them. For AMD, AMD/ATi chipsets are the way to go. And some nVidia.

That last one is the best out of them all IMO, I would get one in a heartbeat only if their higher wattage ones weren't so expensive. :(
 
 
lhuser, I wouldn't get an Intel motherboard....other than the D975BX2 or D975BX...the other ones are just pretty crappy and more orientated for no overclocking....none what so ever. I would rather get a DFI P965-S or a ABIT Quad-GT, or an ASUS P5B(DLX)
 
I don't do OC that board will be fine for me. Actually, the Intel boards are crap in another way. This one, for example, won't accept 2.1V RAM, which is preety inconvenient.

The P5B seems to be a best bet.

IMO, the BX and BX2 series are a waste for me.
