The contrast ratio is fine, 800:1 should be excellent. I was going to order a Viewsonic 20" widescreen with 1000:1 but I couldn't pass up this deal.

looks like a nice buy. Personally i would have jsut gotten a normal 22" since i'm not one for wide-screen, but that still looks nice.

i belive you can run normal resoultions on widescreens just with a the "wide part" blacked out and unused

I've got a 22", it's really nice. The extra space is great.

@ BGates - Once you go dual monitors, you'll never want to go back. It makes things soo much easier.

im going to run dual screens as soon as i get enough money for a new video card im going to hookup some old 14" just to be able to run media player on the extra screen i have tried hooking it up on my TV but the resoultion wont go low enough to read text
