whats the difference between university and college?

hmm, in the uk you study a levels at college and degree or phd and other higher level qualifacations at uni , you generally get more pissed at uni and take more illegal drugs

It's got a range of courses for all people.. but you do generally go to Uni after college or 6th form.

colleges are generally referred to community 2-year higher education institutions after high school. There are 4-year colleges too, but they are limited to certain fields of interest. University level is the highest level with higher advances in degrees and subject matter.

Basically, you would go to a junior college for about two years--get your transfer credit put in and then transfer to a 4-year university where you would end up getting a Bachelors, Masters, or even a PHD if you wish.

ive always seen uni as being at the top of them all. most people go to primary school>secondary/high school>college/6th form>uni. im considering going when i finish 6th form but i really dunno

wait
in the US its different, here we have high school, then you can go to a junior college, usually local, but most kids go to a university straight off
