PS2 not working again

Well, a few weeks ago my brothers computers mouse and keyboard stopped working all together later I found out it was the PS2's. So I just received a new motherboard, cpu and ram today...hooked everything up and I am getting a keyboard error on all the keyboards in the mouse. Is there anything I could have done wrong on the installation of the motherboard to cause this to happen?

PS2 port could be broken.

Try a USB keyboard and mouse.

What's the error? Does it just say: Keyboard error?

Can you type or not?

If not, then ReRMA the board. I believe you're not lucky with PS2 stuff.

Yes it does say Keyboard Error. Sucks because I bought on eBay and now I got screwed out of $20 for shipping to me and back to him.

Have you tried more than one keyboard and mouse? Could be those..

Yes I have tried 3 different keyboards, which all work on the other two computers. I really am having bad luck with PS2...
