Well, 100C isn't really that unusual for high end GPUs under load, especially in a game like Oblivion with the high quality textures.

If you start experiencing problems you think are related to it, then you may want to get it replaced though.

video card makers use pritty bad thermel past

Sorry I haven't yet because I am not in the actual position to run out and get some but it does sound like a good idea and is my next solution in reducing heat. Thanks.

HOLD up. I just found my 'Thermal Grease' for my Zalman CPU cooler (the big chunky one) and says to only use as the heatsink compound. It should be fine to use shouldn't it?

yes you could use that just make sure u use enough
the zalman i think u paint on like nail pollish
so put it on thick enough but not to thick just like a cpu
then make sure u tighten those screws nice and good and you should be good
if u want to go even father u can buy a back of memeory heat sinks of new egg for your graphics card
