Friend's modem not working?

Ok, this is the 3rd thread today, but I just built a computer, and changed my mobo, so everything isnt working great. Anyway, he got a BestData 56k modem for his computer, but it doesnt work. Computer wont sense it, and there is no driver software for vista on the website, what should we do?

Well, looks like you'll need to contact Bestdata Support to see if they have drivers available or maybe a work around for that modem. Otherwise, he may need to get a Vista compatible modem.

Just get page cannot be displayed after trying to submit the ticket.

Yea, I just got that too using both IE and Firefox.

If you can't get ahold of Best Data, he would probably save alot of time just getting a Vista compatible modem.

Well, he has an XP dell, and we are going to try switching modems, but i dont think that'll work, and than maybe buy a new one.

That worked, but it every other time we load a page, we get a page cannot be displayed error, and it may be because of the SBC dial-up, but idk.
