Spybot Search and Destroy

I have attempted to use this with the teatimer function on the desktops but it started having a strange effect with the Mcafee; I kept getting messages about registry changes in McAfee being blocked (with no option given to vetoe the blocking) and I'm really not sure what this means - either the TeaTimer was conflicting with the Antivirus or it was preventing something else from doing so??

Are there any Spybot Search and Destroy experts on here?

The tea timer is problematic at best. I have to go with don't use it.

I don't see the use of the teatimer. It never made a difference on my system and I agree, it is problematic at best. You're better off using it only for scanning, and not for realtime protection.
Another thought is that it could be interfering with mcafee but I'm probably wrong on that, just a thought though.

I really love the teatimer. Never had any problems with it, and it will help protect your pc. Though if you are having problems you could always uninstall it.

Should it give an option for it to NOT block a change it has detected?
