Upgrading laptop vid card thread

Well here's the answer I found.
On most laptops built recently there is a slot for a card called Express Card. It's an extension of the pci-e buss. There are a goodly amount of add on goodies that can be used and pci-e vid cards are one of them. Looks like this card format is going to replace PCMCIA cards.

Yep, that's what I mentioned earlier in this thread I think, the expansion box with PCI-e slots, so theoretically, laptops can be run in SLI/Crossfire.
