Input on New Power Supply

My computer right now has a 400W power supply, which in my opinion is not enough room for my future ideas in upgrading. Would a 600W power supply be enough for my wants of maybe a 8800 GTX? Here are my ideas:

PS: I also have two DVD burners, one hard drive and an Nvidia 570 motherboard.

600 watts is more than enough. You'll be ok.

Um. I have one more question I looked at my mobo power connector and it is one 24-pin plug. The PSUs im looking at have one 20 pin and a 4 pin, will that work on my motherboard? Whats the difference between having one plug than two plugs?

the 4 pin should be AUX power, it shouldn't go into your main ATX power. The Ultra should be one 24pin. You shouldn't have to worry.
