Can you downgrade Vista?

yes...assuming you have a dvd burner anyways....looks like my choices are either spend $139 to upgrade from business edition to ultimate, or buy nero 7 for about $80.....i'll probably go the nero route, as i know i can make neat dvd menus with nero, but not sure about the dvd maker in vista. (i used to use nero 6 when i had xp).

Im Sorry, but it is NOT possible to downgrade a version of windows because of the way its made. i suffered from this problem to and i had to do the partition stuff with the XP disk and yeah.

The only way to install a "lesser" version of Vista would be a clean install, meaning that you would have to reformat. I would go with Ultimate. A friend of mind has it and loves it.

What you could do is use Nero and see if that solves all of your problems. If not, then just upgrade.
