computer crashing online and offline

Hi Blackjack,
I dont know If they just run It on XP or not but i could let you know soon.They did add some more memory because
their wasn't enough. They said there was no hardware or software problems only viruses. Adela.

Hi Raffaz,
The computer guy wiped everything off the computer
reinstalled windows XP plus service pack 2,AVG Antivirus,
and ccleaner and It hasn't made any difference It's still
crashing so now I haven't got a clue to what It could be have you got any Ideas what it now could be the problem?.

Man, they did a clean reinstall ,that seems to eliminate a software/virus problem. Sure sounds like hardware.

Thanx for getting back to me I've been told to run the machine with just the monitor,mouse,keyboard and power
and see what happens.The strange thing is when the computer is at the work shop it doesn't crash. It only crashes when it's back home and everything is plugged in
and AOL is reinstalled,AVG,ccleaner and the printer.Adela.
