Need some help with my new monitor.

I just got my sceptre X20WG Gamer 20.1" monitor in the mail. Its perfectly fine except the driver. I dont know what to do for it. What driver do I need for it? I cant change the resolution past 1024x768 or something like that. But I need 1680x1050. The driver cd is for XP and 2000. Also, how do I set the resolution for games at 1680x1050?

Yep, your video card drivers are the problem, not the monitor drivers

Its good now. Widescreen isnt great tho. Kinda wierd. But its not bad. The only thing I dont like is that when I play a widescreen dvd, there are still black bars. Why is that?

Quility of the movie? Its ok. I might need to reinstall the pureview driver now that I reinstalled my video driver. Is that true? How do I put it in full theater?

I don't think 1680x1080 is 16:9, so you get black bars unless you stretch the image. It's actually 14:9 I think if you reduce the fraction 1680/1080

I like it. Its very nice. And it says on the box that its a 16:9. 1080p 1080i capable. So what do I do to removie teh black bars?

They should at least be small black lines correct? Oh, and how do I make seperate back grounds for each monitor? I have vista and it might be that drivers dont support that yet.
